The VULKAN Deflection Monitor (CDM) serves for monitoring of the mean twist angle and the vibratory amplitude of the twist angle at constant speed. When exceeding a fixed limit for the mean twist angle or vibratory twist angle, the alarm is triggered. For the evaluation of the measured variables, the VULKAN CDM is equipped with an LED display. The scaling is selected such that, full scale deflection, corresponds to the alarm threshold. A state of alarm is indicated by a lamp on the device, acknowledgement and alarm cancel facility is also provided. In addition to the measurement display, the measurement signal is also available on the rear of the unit to providing the facility for detailed analysis.
