VULKAN is an international company working in the field of Transmission technology. Over the years VULKAN highly flexible Couplings have acquired growing worldwide reputation. In the head office in Herne couplings are being manufactured for various applications, such as ship and boat drives, generator drives, drives for industrial application and rail vehicles.

VULKAN Technologies Pvt. Ltd., INDIA, (VTPL) was formally established in August 2001,which is a 100% owned subsidiary of VULKAN Kupplungs & Getriebebau B.Hackfoarth GmbH & CO. KG, Herne, Germany ( www.vulkan24.com ). It is located at Gat No. 539B, Village Kasar Amboli, Taluka-Mulashi, Dist Pune 411042 (INDIA). VTPL manufactures & markets various types of TORSIONAL flexible couplings for D.G. Sets, Compressors, Ship and Marine Applications and other Industrial Applications catering Indian as well as worldwide requirements.

VTPL is an ISO 9001:2000 certified Company by Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI). It has also Manufacturing Approvals from BV (Marine Division), DNV and Lloyds Register of Shipping. It has attained a prestigious 100% EOU Status from February 2005. VULKAN Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (INDIA) consists of the following units:

LOKRING DIVISION :

VULKAN Technologies Pvt. Ltd. manufacture various types of Lokrings for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. Lokring is a very precision product, which allows fast and safe tube joining involving different materials.

VULKAN RUBBERUNIT :

VTPL has a sophisticated rubber plant, which has latest manufacturing and testing facilities. The process of manufacturing involves the Transfer molding technology to transfer rubber of about 30 kg in an element during molding in less than 3 minutes without having any mould defect. The basic Elastomers as of today used for production are General-purpose rubber, Silicones, Nitrile rubber and Hydrogenated Nitrile rubber.

VULKAN ALUMINIUM FOUNDRY :

VTPL has a fully equipped Aluminum foundry division for both Gravity Die Castings as well for Sand Castings. Aluminum Foundry is equipped with all latest equipments, in order to achieve the quality standards as per the specification of Vulkan Germany. VULKAN ALUMINIUM FOUNDRY is the First Foundry in India to get approval from Lloyds Register of Shipping.

VULKAN MACHINE SHOP :

VTPL has fully equipped with Machine Shop consisting of mainly CNC Turning centers, CNC vertical Machine centers, Broaching machine, Shot blasting Machine, Drilling machines, Jigs /Fixtures and all precision measuring equipments.

VULKAN STEEL FOUNDRY :

VTPL has a fully equipped steel foundry for Steel Castings and SG Iron Castings. Our foundry is equipped with all latest equipments in order to achieve the quality standards as per the specification of VULKAN Germany. Installed capacity is 150 T per month.
