The PROPFLEX S coupling has been designed and developed to be installed on board of pleasure crafts, where comfort of the passengers requires a high vibrations isolation degree. It has to be positioned between the gearbox and propeller shaft in order to reduce the vibrations and noise transmission coming from the shaft line itself. It can compensate axial, radial and lateral misalignments and thanks to its modular design can be supplied in different lengths and complete of spools and hubs to match with the most known gearboxes and propulsion systems. It is particulary suitable for all applications where a thrustblock is not foreseen on the shaft line. The PROPFLEX S coupling can transmit directly the propeller thrust to the thrustblock into the gearbox. As there is no direct contact between metal parts, the PROPFLEX S coupling is a noise isolating coupling. Thanks to its own design, the Propflex S coupling can be dismounted radially, without moving the connected machineries. Also available in steel and aluminium execution.
